Beauty Travel Essentials.

daily travel

Traveling to the east coast can be a bit of a nightmare.  Almost eleven hours on a plane in high altitude will dry out your skin.  And I want that natural glow once I land so I can hit the ground running.
Here’s what I always keep in my carry on for those travel days.
The beauty list.
  • Facial Wipes – I always keep a travel size to remove any make up lingering on my skin while traveling.  And it’s easy to use!
  • Glossier Haloscope – This is one of my favorites!  This highlighter will give your skin that dewy effect when you don’t have much make up on.  It is moisturizing and leaves small traces of luster around focused areas.  Cheeks, nose and your eyelids.  Just one stroke and use your ring finger to blend!
  • Nars Lip Gloss – I’ve got a slight natural pink tone to my lips so this Nars Belize lip gloss only enhances the natural color.  If this is not your color, there are over thirty different colors to choose from!
  • La Mer The Eye Concentrate – We often forget to keep our eyes moisturized.  The area is delicate and prone to wrinkles with age, the environment, etc.  This emollient comes with a hefty price but anything to keep the wrinkles around your eyes away!  Preventive and hydration is key when traveling.
  • La Mer Moisturizing Lotion – I’ve never been one to invest in an overpriced moisturizer, however, La Mer is by far a miracle worker.  Yes, so true!  I love this moisturizer for day or night as it continuously gives your skin a vibrant glow and hydrates your skin.  And its natural sea ingredients will help diminish some of your redness and sometimes scars.
  • Lucas Papaw Ointment – This goes everywhere I go!  The ointment is made with pure Australian papaya with antibacterial properties that cures pretty much everything.  I use this for cuts, bites, dry lips, cuticles, and to prevent scars.  And it truly works!
  • Caudalie Beauty Elixir –  The best thing for the plane ride.  This plant based mist will refresh your skin and help keep it looking radiant.
  • Kai Body Lotion – I love the lightly intoxicating gardenia scent.  Maybe it’s growing up with fresh gardenias while growing up as a child in Hawaii. It’s hydrating for the skin and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy.
What are some of your must-have beauty finds?
